Key Differences With MEX 16

In the MEX 16 software, it will be noticed that there are some differences between its Predecessor, MEX 15.

What is New in MEX 16:

What’s newDetail
Web-based interface
V16 runs in a browser. No desktop client install required. Any device with a browser can connect, including tablets and laptops on the network.
Side-bar navigation
Replaces the v15 tile/icon menu approach with a persistent collapsible side bar. Modules expand in-place rather than opening a separate menu screen.
Insights module
Replaces the old Reports module and MEX Dashboard. Interactive listings and graphs across all modules in one place.
Supplier Invoices (Stores)
The old single Supplier menu item is now split into two dedicated items: Supplier Invoices and Suppliers. Invoices have their own listing and workflow.
Electronic Forms
Digital forms (permits, service sheets, calibration records) can be built, attached to Work Orders, filled in online, and reported on via Insights.
Asset Audit Work Order
Enhanced inspection format with checklist headings, GPS location, exception flagging, and ability to raise a Maintenance Request directly from a defect found.
Work Order Scheduler
Visual drag-and-drop scheduling of WOs against resources. Covers Backlog, Resources, and Schedule views including a Day View. Incorporates new AI Scheduling tool.
Geolocation Module
Three main tabs which can show you the physical locations of assets, work orders and requests.
Tool Register
Allows for you to keep track of all of your various tools, when they have been last calibrated and what work orders they have been used on.
