MEX 15 has three supported apps:
- MEX Mobile ('the white app'): A mobile app mirror of MEX offering almost every feature available in MEX 15, which also supports going offline and syncing changes after the device reconnects to your site's server.
- MEX App ('the pink app'): A simplified version of MEX Mobile offering less features, designed to be easier to use for those who only require a more basic level of access to MEX.
- MEX Prestarts: An app for MEX Prestart users to select an existing asset and prestart checklist or scan a QR code and complete prestarts. Requires purchase of the MEX Prestarts module to be able to be used.
Out of each of the apps currently available. For functionality, Support recommend MEX Mobile, as the MEX Maintenance (pink app) does have limitations and has not been the focus of development updates. We also recommend using MEX on the mobile browser (via Chrome, Safari, etc on your iPad, mobile etc) for fuller MEX functionality like writing reports etc.
