MEX Version 15 Release Notes (Build 90.0 Release Date: 2025-01-06)

Enhancements

  • Service Broker has been removed from MEX 15.
  • MEX 15 database can now be hosted as an Azure SQL Database.
  • Improved memory usage across MEX, focusing on startup and report generation.
  • New option has been added to Control Files that will check for outstanding defects when raising a Prestart.
  • Improved the performance of the Region Asset setup.
  • Added a record limit field to Reports in MEX, so reports exceeding this limit will not be loaded.

Bug Fixes

Foreign Currency
  • Purchase Orders and Supplier Invoices now correctly handle foreign currency conversions.
  • Unit Prices are now converted to foreign currency correctly when creating a Purchase Order from a Requisition.
General
  • Fixed layout issues with MEX Grid "Showing X or X" labels.
  • Printing from the document editor now works correctly.
  • Improved performance of certain stored procedures and views.
Work Orders
  • Photos attached to Work Order Inspections can now be viewed from the MEX Mobile app.
  • Contractor Work Order Customer fields now retain Quote information correctly.
Security
  • Inactive MEX Users cannot log in when SSO is enabled.
  • Addressed all remediations from the most recent penetration test.
  • Updated Protobuf.js to resolve known vulnerabilities.
Preventative Maintenance
  • Inspection Details preview now filters Assets correctly.
  • PM Schedule List view applies time zone differences correctly.
Dashboard
  • Stacked Column series type graphs now display correct values on the Y-axis.
Prestarts
  • Work Orders raised from Prestarts now include the Department and Account Code correctly.
Imports
  • Importing CSVs no longer incorrectly interprets dates in mm/dd/yyyy format.
  • Catalogue imports with non-unique numbers no longer affect similar items.
Stores
  • Receipting non-inventory items no longer creates negative stock on hand.
  • Regional users can now update Purchase Order numbers.
MEX Ops
  • Ops Request Listing now saves layout as expected.
  • Custom listing columns can now be added to Ops Requests listings.
