The MEX Dashboard is a web-based reporting tool that can be used to display KPI information for your maintenance organization. In essence it is a web-page that can display a range of graphs, gauges and lists that draw their information from your MEX database.
The intention of the MEX Dashboard is that any authorized person can access a web page and get a clear picture of how the maintenance department is performing.
The MEX Dashboard
The MEX Dashboard is pre-loaded with 98 different KPIs and more KPIs can be added as required. The KPIs are organized into the following categories:
Assets, Contractors, Customers, Labor, Money, Purchases, Requests, Suppliers, Warehouse, Work Orders, Users.
Additionally there is a “Favorites” category which displays any of the KPIs that you have selected as a Favorite.
Logging on to the Dashboard
If MEX Security is enabled (meaning that you are required to enter a User Name and Password to access MEX) then you will also need to enter your MEX User Name and Password when you open up the Dashboard.
Logging On to the Dashboard
When you have the Dashboard web page open you are consuming a Dashboard User License. A Dashboard User License is included in the purchase of every MEX License. This means that if you have purchased five MEX user licenses then five users can be concurrently logged on to the Dashboard at the same time as five users are logged onto MEX.
